CAMTS – the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems is dedicated to improving the quality of patient care and safety of the transport environment for services providing rotor wing, fixed wing and ground transport systems. CAMTS is a voluntary organization whose core expectations and requirements are Honest Self-Assessment, Ethical Business Practices, Patient and Safety Focused, Continuous Quality Improvement, and Transparency in the Accreditation Process. Aerocare is a CAMTS member in good standing. At AeroCare, we take pride in this affiliation, particularly in the current economic climate where fraud cases are abundant as families in crisis are taken advantage of. Aerocare does what is necessary to go above and beyond industry standards, as a best practice, in all areas of the medical transport process. Very few private air ambulance companies retain accreditation from CAMTS. Aerocare first received accreditation from CAMTS in 2003.
In addition to R&M Aviation, Jet Logistics, Inc. is contracted to provide their aircraft for use on air ambulance flights. Jet Logistics is also a CAMTS accredited organization.
