Hurricane Rita Evacuations

On September 23, 2005 the AeroCare crew coupled with ER Resident physicians from the University of Chicago Hospital joined forces to evacuate portions of Bayshore Hospital in Pasadena, TX in preparation for the effects of Hurricane Rita. Several critical patients were successfully transported via AeroCare's King Air 90's and Cessna 421 aircraft from Pasadena, TX to San Antonio, TX. During this evacuation AeroCare staff worked diligently to ensure a transparent move for these patients with critical care monitoring continuing during all aspects of transport.
