MEDICAL ESCORT
SERVICES

World Map

For patients that are in stable condition, and are able to be seated in a commercial aircraft, flying with an AeroCare medical escort is a cost-effective and safe alternative to utilizing a private air ambulance.

We will perform a medical assessment prior to arranging the trip to ensure that it is safe for the patient to fly on a commercial aircraft. Upon approval, we will schedule the trip and purchase first class or business class seats, arrange for ground ambulance transport on both ends, and take care of all necessary paperwork with the airlines, as well as with the sending and receiving facilities. During flight, the patient will be accompanied by an RN and/or Flight Paramedic who will administer all necessary medical care, medications, and assist with any other patient needs. The medical escort will also assist with the boarding, de-planing, security clearance, and any other issues related to the travel.

Medical Staff Rolling Patient Wheelchair

Once the trip is complete, the medical escort will accompany the patient to the receiving facility, and provide their post-flight report to ensure a safe and smooth transition for the patient. Flying with a medical escort can be an extremely economical alternative to a private air ambulance, and our medical escorts are capable of accompanying patients anywhere in the world.
